Jamie Benn's Injury Update
Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn is sidelined due to a facial injury sustained during a recent game against Montreal. Following a collision that caused him to hit the ice, Benn required stitches and is not anticipated to participate in the upcoming games. Coach Glen Gulutzan indicated that Benn is still undergoing evaluation after he was assisted off the ice while bleeding and did not return to the match, which resulted in a 4-3 overtime loss for the Stars.
The team is currently experiencing a five-game losing streak and will embark on a six-game road trip. Gulutzan mentioned that Benn is unlikely to play in the initial games against Carolina and Washington but may rejoin the team for the later matches on the West Coast, starting with San Jose. Notably, Benn, in his 17th NHL season with the Stars, has recorded seven goals and seven assists in 23 games this season, having previously missed the first 19 games due to a punctured lung injury.
Stars On Ice San Jose Sport reviews
fabulous night!
My daughter has become a huge fan of watching ice skating the past two years, so this was a surprise treat for her and we were not disappointed! Sad that Jason Brown opted to tour overseas instead, but Kurt Browning was amazing!
Our only complaint? The fact that the arena was about half empty....how embarrassing, and I am sure frustrating for the skaters to perform in front of so few people. Would it be possible to advertise outside of the Fort Myers community ie Herald Tribune's The Ticket up in the Sarasota area? I only knew about the event because of an email I received from Hertz Arena due to other shows I attended there in the past.
